Privacy policy
PriceLadder ("the app") is a Shopify app that adds volume and graduated quantity pricing to a store. It is operated by Intertoons ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app stores, why, and how to have it deleted. For any question, write to apps@intertoons.com.
What we store

The app uses an offline access token for your store. It does not store the names or email addresses of the staff members who open it.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect, store or receive personal data about your customers or their orders.
- The product-page table and the cart hints run in the shopper's browser. They read the shopper's cart from your store, set no cookies, and send nothing to us or to any third party.
- We do not use advertising or tracking tools in the app.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. It is processed only by Shopify, because the app runs on its platform, and by our hosting provider, DigitalOcean, which runs the server that holds the app's database on our behalf.
How long we keep it, and deletion
- When you uninstall the app, your access token stops working immediately.
- About 48 hours after you uninstall, Shopify tells us to erase the store. We then delete all of your rules, settings and sessions from our database.
- Our database is backed up every night. Backup copies are deleted after 14 days, so a deleted store disappears from backups within that time.
- Shopify also sends requests on behalf of customers (to view or erase their data). Because we hold no customer data, there is nothing to return or delete, and we confirm that to Shopify.
You can ask us to delete your store's data earlier, or to tell you what we hold, by writing to apps@intertoons.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
Security
All traffic to the app uses HTTPS. Shopify's messages to the app are verified with their digital signature before we act on them. The database is on a private server with access limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you without undue delay.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and to object to how it is used. Write to us at apps@intertoons.com and we will help.
Children
The app is a tool for store owners and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects what we collect, we will also tell store owners in the app.
